Aardvark includes a built-in link in bio tool, so there’s no need to use—or pay for—a separate one.

The goal isn’t to replace how you already share links. It’s to give you a clean, reliable place where your audience can always find:

  • your creator deals
  • your other important links
  • your social profiles

This guide walks through how to set up and customize your link in bio in a way that feels natural and actually helps people take action.

How link in bio fits into Aardvark

There are two core parts to Aardvark:

  • Creator deals — the affiliate or referral links you add
  • Link in bio — a simple page that makes those deals (and other links) easy to find

Creator deals are what power the browser extension.
Link in bio gives your audience a familiar place to find those same deals anytime.

They’re designed to work together.

You don’t need to have everything set up perfectly right away. It’s completely fine to start small and adjust as you go.

What “converts” actually means

When we say “converts,” we’re not talking about pushing people or turning your bio into a storefront.

A link in bio converts when:

  • it’s clear what you recommend
  • it’s easy to know where to click
  • it doesn’t feel cluttered or overwhelming

Simple, focused layouts usually work best.

What you can add to your link in bio

From your Link in Bio page, you can add three types of content.

Creator deals

These are affiliate or referral deals you’ve added in Aardvark.

When you add a deal to your link in bio:

  • it remains available through the browser extension
  • your audience can find it even when they’re not actively shopping

Creator deals are the most important links on your page.

Other links

You can also add regular links, such as:

  • personal websites
  • newsletters
  • storefronts
  • content hubs

These links appear only on your link in bio page.

Social links

You can add links to your social profiles so your audience can easily find you across platforms.

These appear in your profile header.

Choosing a theme

Aardvark offers two ways to style your link in bio. Both are designed to look good out of the box.

Basic themes

Basic themes give you:

  • different color styles
  • the ability to customize typography and layout
  • more control if you like fine-tuning design

This is a good option if you want flexibility and a look that matches your personal brand.

Creator themes

Creator themes are pre-built designs created by some of Aardvark’s founding creators.

They:

  • are designed to look great without setup
  • pay homage to creators who helped shape Aardvark early on
  • don’t allow further customization (fonts, layout, etc.)

These are a great option if you want something polished right away without making design decisions.

You can switch themes at any time, so there’s no pressure to choose “correctly.”

How to structure your link in bio for real results

A high-performing link in bio isn’t about limiting options.
It’s about guiding attention.

The goal is to help your audience quickly understand:

  • what you actually recommend
  • what’s most relevant to them
  • where to click without thinking too hard

That’s how conversion happens naturally.

Start with clear priorities (not just one link)

Instead of thinking in terms of a single “main” link, it’s more helpful to think in tiers.

Creators who earn consistently usually structure their pages like this:

Tier 1: Core recommendations

These are products or services that:

  • you genuinely use and trust
  • come up often in your content or DMs
  • make sense for a wide portion of your audience

These should be:

  • easy to spot
  • clearly labeled
  • near the top of the page

This is where most clicks typically happen.

Tier 2: Contextual or supporting deals

These are still valuable, but more situational.

Think:

  • tools that support your core recommendations
  • products for specific use cases
  • things not everyone needs, but the right person will

These usually work best just below your core recommendations.

Tier 3: Everything else

This includes:

  • your website
  • storefronts
  • newsletters
  • other projects or content

These links matter, but they shouldn’t compete with your deals for attention.

If everything is highlighted, nothing stands out.

Why this structure works

This approach works because it mirrors how people actually make decisions.

Your audience doesn’t want:

  • a wall of links
  • to guess what matters
  • to scroll endlessly

They want:

  • a few strong signals
  • reassurance they’re clicking the “right” thing
  • options only if they need them

A tiered structure gives them that.

Let your deals work over time

One of the biggest advantages of using Aardvark is that your deals aren’t tied to a single post or moment.

Once deals are added:

  • they can be discovered automatically through the browser extension
  • they’re always available in your link in bio
  • they continue working even when you’re focused on creating

Your link in bio doesn’t need constant updates to perform well. It just needs to stay clear and intentional.

A quick gut check

Before you move on, ask yourself:

  • If someone lands here for the first time, is it obvious what I recommend?
  • Would I know where to click if I were new?
  • Does anything feel noisy or unnecessary?

If it feels clear, you’re doing it right.
